Our learning environment is different
We hire teachers who love children, love knowledge, and love to teach. They are content masters who demonstrate curiosity and a desire to continue to grow in their own knowledge. Teachers are also of strong faith in order to guide students.
Our curriculum is different
- We learn about human nature through study of the great books, philosophy, and the liberal arts and sciences.
- We learn about the natural order through the study of math and science.
- History helps us to understand the unfolding human story.
- Latin instruction provides solid grounding in grammar and language.
- We study Scripture, church history and the Christian apologetics.
Our culture is different
Each morning children are greeted by faculty and staff. We gather to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, say a prayer, and listen to a piece of Scripture, poetry, or prose memorized by a student. Each week students, faculty, and staff attend a chapel service.
Wing Classical Academy is a place of order, honor, joy, and discipline. Our behavioral expectations for students, faculty, staff, and parents are based on respect of others and ourselves.

An excellent school retains excellent teachers. Teachers and the classroom are our central focus. We give teachers the time and resources to teach. The School Board keeps faculty needs and development as our top priority.
